A video claiming to show how Coronavirus ‘originated from blood’ cells in a laboratory is going viral on the video-sharing platform TikTok. The video shows a drop of blood on a glass slide, which can be seen multiplying into several droplets in a matter of mere seconds. The Bangla caption accompanying the claim says “The way coronavirus was originated from this blood”.  Newschecker has found the claim to be false. Footage from a Netflix series goes viral on social media with a false claim that coronavirus originated from blood cells in the laboratory.
