The report stated that a few days ago, a video went viral showing the OC (Officer-in-Charge) of Chapainawabganj Sadar Police Station, Matiur Rahman, holding a child’s hand. In the video, other officers were also pulling the child’s hair. After the video went viral, OC Matiur Rahman explained the incident, saying it happened on July 6, 2025, during an NCP leaders’ procession. The child was detained on suspicion of possessing drugs.
