Claim– Dr Yunus addressed Donald Trump as Messiah in his letter to Trump while congratulating on Trump’s victory
Fact– The viral letter circulating is fabricated.
Recently, a message has spread on social media claiming that Dr. Muhammad Yunus, the Chief Adviser of the Interim Government, sent a signed message congratulating the newly elected U.S. President, Donald Trump. The message reportedly read as follows:
“I would like to congratulate Donald Trump for being elected President of the free world. President-elect Trump is the messiah we all have been waiting for. He will usher in new ideas for humanity and boldly will take humanity to places we have never visited. Truth be told, I have been a secret admirer of him since 2016. Again, warm wishes to President Trump and the warm relationships he and I share.”
A few more posts also claim that he called Trump’s victory as the solar eclips…black days in HEC paris while speaking to the students and researchers.

Factcheck/Verification
Upon initiating the investigation, inconsistencies were immediately discovered in the so-called press release, casting doubt on its authenticity. The unusual and unprofessional wording of the sentences raised suspicions, prompting further scrutiny of the matter.
Subsequently, the actual congratulatory message published on the official Facebook and X account of the Chief Adviser of GOB on November 6 was found.
Further Newschecker confirmed the fact that the viral image of the congratulatory letter signed by Dr Yunus is fabricated. The Press Secretary of the Chief Advisor of the GOB, Shafiqul Alam confirmed that.
Conclusion
Therefore, the press release circulated claiming that Dr. Yunus sent a congratulatory message to Trump is fake and fabricated.
