By conducting a keyword search Newchecker found a report on Campus Live on May 14, 2017, titled “The Story of BCS Cadre Monirul’s Dream Victory from Carpenter”.

The same news item has been reproduced in the website of one ‘Bangla News’ as a fresh news item and has been going viral on social media platforms. 

Monirul Islam’s success story about his transformation from a carpenter to a BCS officer was also reported on Prothom Alo on 13th May 2017.

Monirul Islam passed the 35th BCS examination and was appointed in the education cadre in 2017.
