Fact

To verify this, a reverse image search was conducted using a still frame from the viral video. The investigation revealed that the exact same image was used in a report published by JagoNews24 on July 26, 2024, titled “Attack on Setu Bhaban: Nurul Haq Nur Sent to Jail.”

According to the report, the court ordered Nurul Haq Nur to be sent to jail in connection with a case filed over the attack on Setu Bhaban in the capital’s Banani area. On July 26, the court passed this order after the police presented him before the court upon completion of a five-day remand.

Several mainstream media outlets covered the news at that time; see here and here.

Furthermore, no recent news regarding Nurul Haq Nur being hospitalized has been published in any mainstream media. Similarly, no information or posts regarding this matter were found on Nur’s official Facebook page. Therefore, it is evident that the image is not recent.

Conclusion:

A  photo of an incident from 2024 is being used to spread the claim that “Nurul Haq Nur was beaten and hospitalised for insulting expatriates,” which is entirely false.
