A video went viral on social media claiming that Sheikh Hasina visited the country from the Benapole border. The video shows Sheikh Hasina stepping out of a car accompanied by her protocol team.

To verify the authenticity of the viral video claiming that Sheikh Hasina viewed the country from the Benapole border, a keyframe reverse image search was initially conducted.
Through the keyframe search, a similar video was found on the official YouTube channel of Protidiner Bangladesh, titled “Prime Minister stops her car to watch boat race.“
According to the news report, the incident took place on February 26, 2023, while she was returning from a rally in Gopalganj. This indicates that the event occurred a year before Sheikh Hasina departed from Bangladesh.
A relevant keyword search yielded multiple news reports featuring the same video, as seen in coverage by Ekattor TV and Barishal24TV.
Therefore, the viral clip is not a recent video of Hasina visiting Benapole, but rather footage from 2023.
