Newschecker has verified this claim and found it to be false.
Fact
To ensure the integrity of this issue, a reverse image search of the viral photograph revealed that the same image was previously published on August 20th on the Twitter account of The Times of India, an Indian media outlet.
The image’s caption states that it is a scene from the recent floods in the Indian state of Tripura.
Furthermore, the same image can be found in a report published on the Times of India website.
Additionally, the image was found in a post on the Instagram account of the Communist Party of India (Marxist), a political party in India, dated August 20th, which was about the floods in Tripura.
Consequently, a photograph purportedly depicting the recent flood in Feni district, Bangladesh, is a photo of the flood in Tripura, India.
