Recently, a video has been circulating on the social media platform TikTok claiming that the people’s leader Sheikh Hasina gave a speech in front of the media in Delhi.

Fact
By performing reverse image search of keyframes from the viral video, the original video titled “I am ready to give my life like my father: Prime Minister,” was found on the mainstream media outlet ‘DBC NEWS’ YouTube channel, published on August 2, 2023. The video can be viewed here.
There is an exact similarity between the part of the viral video from 2 minutes 37 seconds to 3 minutes 4 seconds and the above video.
According to a Daily Ittefaq report published on August 2, 2023, Sheikh Hasina addressed an Awami League grand rally at Rangpur Zilla School field that day. She said,“I am here with your love, and I also love you from the bottom of my heart. A person cannot bear the grief of losing loved ones, and I lost all my family members on the same day. The people of Bangladesh are like family to me. For the country’s fate to change, I am ready to give blood like my father if necessary.”
In other words, the video is not of Sheikh Hasina giving a speech recently in Delhi.
Therefore, an old video of Sheikh Hasina’s speech at the Awami League grand rally in Rangpur from 2023 has been falsely circulated as a recent speech given in front of the media in Delhi.
