Fact Check / Verification
By conducting a keyword search Newchecker found a report on Campus Live on April 14, 2019, titled “Family by Day, Study by Night: The Story of BCS Cadre Farzana”.
On analysing the article, we find that the same news item has been reproduced in the website of one ‘Bekar Barta’ on 2 January as a fresh news item and has been going viral on social media platforms.
Umme Habiba Farzana’s success story of BCS cadre was also reported on Channel i & Bangladesh Journal in 2018.
Umme Habiba Farzana has been appointed to the administration cadre through the 37th BCS after overcoming obstacles in her life.

On further research, Newschecker found her name on Gazipur district website’s officer lists and found that Farzana was currently serving as an Assistant Commissioner (Education and Welfare Branch, ICT Branch and Media and Research Cell Branch) in the district.
Conclusion
A 3-year-old story has been reproduced exactly by an online portal and is being shared as the latest news by users on Facebook.
